What a signed case
actually costs you

Nobody buys a lead. You buy a signed case, and the lead is just the unit it comes in. Put in your two numbers below and see the only figure that pays your bills.

CasesDaily.com · No gate, no opt-in, nothing to sign up for. It runs on your numbers and it works whoever you buy your leads from.

The calculator

Your numbers, your answer

Two required fields. Nothing is sent anywhere, nothing is saved, and nothing here is tilted in our favour — it is division, and it will tell you an unflattering answer about us just as readily as about anyone else.

Whatever your current vendor charges you for one lead.

Your real signed rate, not your contact rate. Most firms overestimate this.

Turns the answer into a monthly spend and a monthly case count.

Your number, not ours. Leave it blank and we simply won't show the return.

Your true cost per signed case

$3,125

You burn 12.5 leads at $250 each to put one case in the bank.

You spend a month
$25,000
Cases signed a month

Same lead, same price. Only the follow-up changed.

Every row below is your price of $250 a lead. Nothing about the lead changes down the column — only what happens to it after it arrives. That is the half of the equation your vendor does not control.

Cost per signed case at $250 per lead, across conversion rates
Cases signed per 100 leadsCost per signed case
2 in 100$12,500
3 in 100$8,333
5 in 100$5,000
8 in 100Closest to yours$3,125
10 in 100$2,500
15 in 100$1,667
20 in 100$1,250
25 in 100$1,000

What it would take: at $250 a lead, you would need to sign about 13 in 100 to get your cost per signed case under $2,000. Nothing about the lead has to change for that. The follow-up does.

Why the number surprises people

The cheap lead is usually the expensive one

Firms shop on the price of the lead because it is the number on the invoice. But the price of the lead is only the numerator. The denominator — how many of them you actually sign — moves far more, and it is the one nobody puts on an invoice.

A lead is not cheap or expensive. A signed case is. Two firms can pay the same price for the same lead and pay wildly different amounts per case, and the difference is entirely in what happens in the days after it arrives.

The cheap one

Shared lead at $150

Sold to 4 firms, converting at 3%, so you burn about 33 of them per signed case.

Cost per signed case

$5,000

The expensive one

Exclusive lead at $275

Sold to 1 firm, converting at 20%, so you burn 5 of them per signed case.

Cost per signed case

$1,375

Both boxes above are illustrative market rates for the lead-generation industry, shown to compare the two models. They are not CasesDaily prices and not a quote. Ours are further down, and they are a different set of numbers.

The $150 lead costs $5,000 a case. The $275 lead costs $1,375. The expensive lead was the cheap one, and the reason is not that it is a better person — it is that 3 other firms are calling the shared one, and the rest of you paid full price for a conversation you will never have.

The half you control

You can only negotiate the price once. You can fix the conversion every day.

Squeeze your vendor and you might get 10% off the lead. Move your signed rate from 5 in 100 to 10 in 100 and you halved your cost per case — with the same leads, from the same vendor, at the same price. Run the ladder in the calculator again and watch which column moves.

We have handed the exact same leads to dozens of firms and watched some of them sign at multiples of what others managed. Same leads, same market. The only variable was what happened in the days after the lead came in — which is a thing you can go and change this week, whoever you buy from.

Every lead exclusive to one firm and never resold, and intake specialists come free with the leads — because a lead nobody works is a lead you paid for twice. Put those figures into the calculator above alongside your current vendor's and see which way it falls.
